Frustration turned into comfort: the armrelaxpad story
It all began on the highway
Hi, I'm Michael Krüger. Since I've been driving a lot for work for years, I knew the problem all too well: on long drives, your left hand reaches for the steering wheel, but your elbow just can't find a place to rest.
The result? Tension, shoulder pain, and an uncomfortable sitting position. I searched all over the internet and scoured accessory shops, but there was simply nothing that solved this problem.
From foam block to idea
Necessity is the mother of invention. So, at first, I simply cut some foam packaging to size and wedged it into the door. Admittedly, it looked terrible. But it worked! My problem was solved, the pain was gone.
But I couldn't get the idea out of my head: there had to be a way to make it look good too. I wanted a solution that was not only comfortable, but also durable and attractive.
Handcrafted instead of mass-produced goods
Together with a small team of friends and craftsmen, we tinkered, discarded and developed it further. We didn't want a cheap plastic part, but a high-quality upholstery that feels as if it has always been part of the car.
Today, we are proud of the result: the armrest pad. We do not manufacture in huge factory buildings in the Far East, but in our small workshop. Every pad passes through our hands – developed by drivers for drivers.
Drive more relaxed. Give it a try—your health will thank you.
